Scott reminded me yesterday how proud his dad was of Baby Yoda Notorious B.I.G. parody shirt by T-shirtat. Oh how that made me cry but in a good way. My mother and best friend passed away this year. I shall take these words to heart. She was only 17 and it has been heart wrenching, especially for my youngest daughter who called her a best friend. Thank you for your posts, which always remind us that love is the most important thing. And to always let people know how much you care for them. We miss our friend Maggie so much.
I am also crying for my daughter who started a Baby Yoda Notorious B.I.G. parody shirt by T-shirtat this year with the hope of finding that one friend too. She wasn’t met with unkindness, but not with kindness either. No one has tried to include her or make sure she felt like part of something. No one has reached out to a hand or tried to be her friend. No teacher or counselor or grown-up at the school has tried to help either. My daughter is not difficult in the classroom. I read this women’s experience and I’m left wondering how their lives and their souls might be different today if one person on that long list of “no one’s” had reached out.
